Subtitles bundled in the video don't display

Subtitles that are bundled in the video dont display for me in android, i only have an "import as file" option for subtitles. I only tested with a video that has ASS subtitles embedded.

Is this a bug? Since mpv itself does support the subtitles from file and I am using the mpv backend...
