Voltage Zeroing Bug with Desktop Digitizer

Bug prevents a voltage from being entered into the voltage setpoint in the High Voltage tab. This has only been observed on Channel 1 (-), but has been observed twice on a DT5790M on different computers and digitizers. Channel 0 (+) was behaving normally. Bug was resolved by downloading and running Caen DPP-PSD software. Suspected to be an issue with firmware overcurrent protection.

You are saying the CAEN's PSD software enabled you to properly operate the unit?

Note to myself:

The problem is likely in ADAQ libraries, probably due to my writing HV control code for the DT5790M in the earliest days of DPP-PSD. Problem could be in ADAQHighVoltageRegisters.hh, where the current maximum set registers have not set address and are marked "unused". Possibly was correct at the time but modern versions of the firmware may have changed and changed result of this code with it. Probably need to update.

Zach, You can always count on me to break ADAQ. Yes, not only does the CAEN software work, but after using it ADAQAcquisition also works. Your note to self seems consistent with what we observe!
