I have been maintaining a fork of spilo with pgvecto.rs support. The diff is very simple: https://gitlab.wuhoo.xyz/jerry/spilo-pgvecto.rs/-/compare/5eca94d2..master.
If there is interest from the community and maintainers, I can open a PR to get it merged in mainline.

Yea this would be great, I need it for the postgres operator
