Also the version number doesn't seem to be published anywhere for now, so here is a deno script, that update the package by checking last-modifed header (it assumes build/zed-nightly.spec exists)

I used the newer spec file and this doesn't seem to work 🤔
I never used that before, so that is most likely on me...

I think you need to create SOURCES folder if you haven't already

Thanks for creating the spec file. Due to missing installation of the libex binary, running zed fails with

Error: Bundle detection

Caused by:
    could not find any of: ../libexec/zed-editor, ../lib/zed/zed-editor, ./zed

Here's a version of the spec file with the fix and also adding license file:
