Vim’s conceal feature hides specific portions of text while keeping them functionally present in the buffer.

In vim text can be hidden using syntax highlighting rules. In plugins like vim-markdown, syntax groups are defined with conceal. I wonder how this could implemented for zed as well. Maybe you can point me in the right direction whether this would be possible with an extension. I would be willing to give it try if the effort is sonehow justifiable.

However, at the moment I lack the right starting point to tackle the challenge.
