. I also searched through the documentation on https://zed.dev/docs/assistant/configuration.I don't know whether this is a bug or not. Based on #383 it sounds like the intention may be for ⌘-F to only auto-populate the Find bar with selected values, but the current behavior that I'm experiencing is that Zed automatically selects the nearest word—either before or after the cursor—and autopopulates the Find bar's search field.
In case this much more aggessive form of autopopulation of the Find bar is intended, I would very much appreciate a way to disable it. It essentially turns ⌘-F into the series of keystrokes:
In the very least it would be extremely helpful to allow users to skip the automatic ⌘-D that gets executed before ⌘-F. Even better would be to also allow us to skip the automatic ⌘-C and ⌘-V, although that setting should logically be distinct from the setting regarding automatically selecting nearby text.
