Implement explorer.NewFile of VSCode

Hi everyone!

I'm new to using Zed Editor and was trying to set it up. I liked the way explorer.NewFile keybind worked in VS Code.
I was trying to do the same in Zed, but so far haven't been able to do. Can someone help me out?

Things that I have tried:

1. Adding "ctrl-n": "project_panel::NewFile" under "context": "Workspace" in keybind.json
2. Doing the same while ensure that the Project Panel is in focus.
3. Toggle the focus to Project Panel and then create a new file.

I have reached a conclusion that to achieve this, a particular folder must be selected in the Project Panel before i can create a New File.
