When I was re-watching the posted issues, I already found the overlapping issue with my issue here #24000 (comment), But still, I believe it's very strongly important feature and if people actually asking for it, it might be taken seriously for consideration because if people are saying they might not use Zed editor solely because of lack of those features , that's a thing for considering, I guess... and I disagree with the maintainer as it's very hard to do and almost impossible. Yes it may be pretty hard to do and gonna take a lot of efforts, but it's very doable
