Support for claude code is much appreciated! However it's not usable for extended work because the moment you run out of context, you receive the
Prompt is too long
error. At that point, the thread is dead. There's no way to compact the context and continue your work in Zed.I was able to launch
claude --resume
in the terminal, reattach to the Zed-initiated claude code session, and then run compact to continue my work.Please add slash command support for working with the context and/or an option to turn on automatic compaction.
