Payout scheme isn't lucrative #1

As is, I think this idea is dead in the water.

This script suggests that a user who enlists up to 5 new users will only make 50 cents a month under excellent mining conditions, namely:

  • Everyone (including themselves) mines 8 hours/day at 5 days/week.
  • Referrer makes 30% of every referrals output

But that's before currency exchange and automated payout (using stripe) fees. So this person would actually make ~0$/month.

Under those same conditions one would need to have 20 direct reports to make about $20-$25/month. I'm just guessing here but I don't think people typically successfully refer more than 3 others to anything. So this wouldn't be worth most people's time if the pyramid scheme is all we'd have going for them.
