Desperately need help on file transfer

I am trying to transfer my edited nms save file on the xbox gamepass app to the steam version.
First of all, on the guide I was following it said I could just save the save file as JSON file, but this option doesn't even appear to me. So I attempted to use the built in file transfer, but even that broke when I selected my specific save in the first step.
What can I do? I just want my save to be moved to steam

to add to this, I am unable to select any editing for a specific save either

another update,
now 1, I cant even open the game (xbox game pass) and every single file after opening nomnom has been labled incompatible, it ruined everything and I dont know what to do. I have poured years into this save, so I would greatly appreciate someones help
