re-pairing devices from a backup

Is there a way to re-pair previously paired devices, after removing and re-applying the plugin based on the backup files in the Data directory ?
I'd rather not go through the pairing again to prevent having to reopen my existing dimmers to activate pairing mode.

it should be straight forward

(1) you use the WebUI interface and you prepare the device for Reset

(2) you put the plugin in pairing mode

(3) you reset the device in order to redo the pairing

In all cases, never remove the Domoticz Widget, they will get reconnected and so you'll keep the history

However your step 3 is what had hoped to avoid. I am using several dimmers that I have to physically open to press the reset button.
If I look at the stored pairing info in the Data directory I see this information:

Can this not be re-used ?

Unfortunately not, you need to put the device in pairing mode ( reset is requires)
If you have a TI or Silicon coordinator - not zigate - and if you have a backup of it then restoring will prevent to do the device reset

So I guess you have zigate ! Where backup/ restore are not possible.
