you can already only show apps that are running, but re open windows, idk if there is an api for that

I spent a few hours trying to implement this. As far as I can tell, there is no official API for this, only undocumented or janky scripts. I thought had a working implementation; however, it simply returned visibly open windows from the current space. So if you minimized a window, it would be removed from the menu bar. I don't see this as being particularly useful, given that the whole point of this application is to facilitate switching between apps without resorting to the dock.

@todor2810 ChatGPT is well known for hallucinating or lying about this. I even asked it myself, receiving various different solutions. None of which worked, unfortunately.
