Custom pin on ios generated from a ContentView #422

Hi,
I tried generating a custom pin with an static image which worked fine but wanted to go another step and generate a pin based of a ContentView which can have dynamic data. I've tried doing this without any luck.
Attached is a sample project to test this theory. It works on Android just can't get it to work on ios.

Replication steps.
- Build and deploy to ios device
- Click the button
- Confirm that no pin is displayed
Is this possible? Or if anyone else has any other ideas about this.
