Deprecation of Tizen Studio

Samsung issued a deprecation notice for Tizen Studio:

Would it be possible to get updated installation instructions for jellyfin-tizen with the VS Code Tizen Extension ?

VS Code Tizen also use the same Tizen CLI as Tizen Studio so max the download location will change.
All the commands will be the same.

Yes, all those tools are installed as dependencies when we install Tizen extension. But it doesn't include the tizen.bat cli which is essential for our jellyfin-tizen wgt build. I tried building it directly using the build-project command in VS code and it built successfully but with huge bugs and the wgt size increase to 23mb. Since I'm not a coder I couldn't figure out a way. My only way is to use the old Tizen-studio cli. if anyone find a way in the future it will be good.

I can confirm the wtg size being around 22MB - how large is it when built with Tizen Studio?

I've been running the wtg I built using VS Code for a couple of days now, so far I'm not seeing any bugs.

I've been running the wtg I built using VS Code for a couple of days now, so far I'm not seeing any bugs.

The only bug I faced is settings page cannot be opened. The size increase is due to the tizen build tool unable to exclude node modules folder, after manually deleting it the wgt size becomes 10.3mb again. For the settings page bug you need to remove .settings from the exclude list in tizen_web_project.yaml file. That's it no more changes to be done, the app performs like same as before without any bugs.
