What is the meaning of the Gray vs the Green Online and New indicators?

Hi all,

I'm trying to understand the different meanings of the status colors.
Sometimes I see "New" in green, sometimes in gray.
And it's the same for Online.

I tried forcing the browser to refresh, but to no avail.

Could you help me?

No doubt you have since worked this out and assuming that this is what you are a asking?

1. Online (Green) = An active device that is no longer marked as a "New Device" . When inactive reports as "Offline" (grey),
2. New (Green) = A newly discovered device that is online and is still "ticked" as a "New Device"
3. New (Grey) = Same as No.2 but device is now offline.

Ideally, when a new devices is discovered, one would click on it and adjust accordingly to suit your needs and then uncheck the "New Device" box. Once complete would then show as either Online (Green) or Offline (Grey).

Thanks @mygit1405 - yes that's exactly how it works. There is also a setting to auto disable new after a given time period or you can use Workflows.
