curl not found

I'm trying to install SimCity 3000 on a machine running Linux Mint 22. After running sc3u-patcher.sh I get "ERROR: Required binary curl not found. Install it to proceed".

Running "which curl" returns "/usr/bin/curl" and if I attempt to install it via apt-get it says it is already installed.

Am I doing something wrong?

Seems you were doing nothing wrong, but sc3u-patcher.sh was not POSIX compatible (sc3u-patcher.sh uses /bin/sh and not /bin/bash).

While at it, I also spotted another issue downloading the patch.

Fixes are at the branch remove-bashisms, can you give them a try?

If all works, I will merge the PR. If not, please leave the logs there and I will have another look.
