"Enabled" check mark near-invisible on macOS

I have this extension on some of my Linux machines. I'm happy with it, so I added it to my master copy of Thunderbird on my iMac. (macOS Monterey, T'bird 138.)

I had difficulty connecting because I could not see which accounts were on or not. After about 5 or 6 attempts I realised it is showing a white tick mark on a very light grey background. It's almost impossible to see.

I suggest a different control or any possible other change to make it visible.

I am using high-contrast settings in macOS, not because of any problem with my vision but because I like the quieter display with less colour.

Hey! Could you please share a screenshot, so I can see exactly what to change? I don't have any macOS at the moment, so I didn't realize it :(
