Latest release refuses to compile zfsutils

I have a zfs pool which is now,for reasons beyond the scope of this expplanation,up beyond the stage the kernel can support it
I compile with make allll,all deps fulfilled no failures and no matter what the zfsutils package doesntbuild ,i get

After carefully re-reading it os possible libaio-dev despite being vital,is not checked for in ./configure and is CRUCIAL for the I/O ops for zfsutilllllllllllllllllllllllls
I am awaiting to see if the makefile has instructions for building the module,

Yes, that aLllllll was due to the unstable system I was on and being stuck with the Wayland compositor....Believe me it was freezing up every five to ten seconds eventually I unfortunately did end up losing power because it went into sleep and apparently it just wouldn't unsleep.

Unfortunately, having admittedly screwed up by upgrading to what I didn't realise was such a blazingly new version of ZFS, I now have lost access to my pool completely. So my plan is to replace my drive, put it into an external enclosure and wait until I can actually compile a kernel with a full support. (System Rescue CD with the latest one that comes in compiled with that would be, you know, Doom import command with X and F and capital F did not import it. It just gave me an IO error and the super forceful command said it's not available.)

And I can share the flags that I was using but ultimately I tried all commands under the sun I ensured every single possible dependency was present I meticulously examined the compile and build and make logs

I ran the auto generator then the configure and Then the make all properly I did make install I tried to make all I tried to make deb

I examined it line by line, the output, everything appeared fine. It absolutely refused to build ZFS utils on either the target system or an Ubuntu live CD.

It threw no errors indicating why...Everything was perfect except it just wasn't there. I originally thought it might have been rolled into another package like less packages now but dependency issues just made that impossible to reconcile. I'll try and grab all of the command line flags I used now.

I used FDE, I'm ready to come to turn to the fact I've lost everything on there. I had most of it backed up, I hope, but let's see about in flags....I may have them written down but if I don't you can assume I tried every single thing as according to current documentation with native march.
