Good question.
Technically, I don't consider the project abandoned, but in practice, I haven't worked on it in a long time.
The reason for this distance is that developing Antares was becoming more of a duty/obligation than a pleasure for me. I'm sorry that many people aren't receiving updates, but I told myself that if this wasn't making me happy anymore, it was better to take a break.
The main burden came from unexpected problems on distribution platforms, such as Snap or, much more frequently, Flatpak, where at the time of release you discover that due to their changes you are forced to spend additional time to ensure the update, or even worse, a hotfix.
In addition to that, my available free time has been greatly reduced.

I don't consider this project dead. I have several ideas, and thanks to AI, I would be able to develop faster than in the past. I don't rule out the possibility that I might return to committing soon.

Thanks for the honest answer. This is totally understandable.

I've installed DBeaver recently and finding it fills the gaps. I'll keep an eye on this from afar as I feel it shows a lot of promise.
