Meaning of the columns

Is there a place where I can find the definition of the columns?

I'm having trouble understanding what the numbers mean in "Seed," "Peers," and "Ratio." Also, what does "Importance" mean in the "Peers" tab?

I tried searching online but couldn't find a clear explanation. I also checked the QBittorrent documentation but didn’t find anything helpful either.

Seeds are users who have downloaded all files 100%.

Peers are other users who are downloading the file and sometimes it's also including all seeders and leechers.

If main window is showing 1(2) in Seeders or Peers column, then it means you are currently connected to 1 out of 2 possible peers.

Ratio is a number determined by dividing the amount of data that user has uploaded by the amount of data they have downloaded. So if you downloaded 100% and uploaded 10%, then Ratio should show 0,10, if you have downloaded 100% and uploaded 100%, then ratio should be shown as 1,00.

Importance
I've no clue, I can't see any such column shown or mentioned anywhere, maybe you are using very old qBit version or have incorrect column names, maybe because someone had made a translation mistake. Try updating qBit and switch to English language.

Is there a reason you don't connect to every available seeder/peer?

And the column isn't named importance in english, it's called Relevance. Couldn't find it in the link you provided.

How relevant this peer is to us. How many pieces it has that we don't.

Hey, I'm still a bit confused about this "Peers" column.
For a specific torrent, the column shows me "1 (9)" but in the Peers tab I have this:

It seems that I'm connected to more than 1 peer, so is there another filtering happening in the Peers column? Or a specificity I missed?

In torrent list "Peers" are people who either haven't downloaded the whole torrent yet or they chose not to download at least one file, there is no distinction unfortunately. Seeders are those who have 100% of the torrent.

Now this is gonna get confusing...
In trackers list "Peers" are generally everyone i.e. Seeders+Leeches so "Peers" in transfer list are actually the "Leeches" from trackers list tab.

If a torrent has at least 1 working tracker, 'Peers" and "Seeds" in transfer list are updated from that tracker or the one with the highest number if there are multiple.
Otherwise the number in the parentheses (x) is the cumulative number of peers seeds we have (ever?) seen. Those numbers are saved in the torrent's .fastresume file and i don't know if they are ever reset so i wouldn't consider that reliable.
