LibreELEC (ae-fork) 22.01-alpha-02 (Generic x86_64)

Code has been added to Kodi for automatic stream format changes when the PVR TVLINK Client operates via the Inputstream FFmpeg Direct plugin (and without it). This only works with the new TVLINK IPTV Server, starting from version 5.0.1.
Switching between streams of the same channel usually takes 2-3 seconds if the stream formats do not differ significantly (e.g., the resolution does not change between the previous and next stream). Otherwise, switching can take about 20 seconds.

Differences from the Original Version

  • Default Password: For the "root" user (for SSH access), the password "mcpc" (root/mcpc) is set.
  • Automatic Updates: The automatic system update function has been removed from LibreELEC settings.
  • Kodi Optimization: Kodi's code has been optimized for faster TV channel switching.
  • TVLINK IPTV Server Support: Necessary packages (dependencies) for TVLINK IPTV Server operation have been added to the system.
  • TVLINK IPTV Server Management: TVLINK IPTV Server can be installed, enabled, or disabled in LibreELEC settings.
    -Additional APIs in Kodi: PVR-API has been added to Kodi for PVR TVLINK Client and Inputstream FFmpeg Direct.
  • Additional Code in Kodi: Code has been added to Kodi for automatic stream format changes when PVR TVLINK Client operates via the Inputstream FFmpeg Direct plugin (and without it).
  • Built-in PVR TVLINK Client: PVR TVLINK Client is built into the system. It can be activated in the "My Add-ons — PVR Clients" section.
  • Inputstream FFmpeg Direct Plugin: The Inputstream FFmpeg Direct plugin, rewritten for correct operation of TimeShift/Catchup functions in TVLINK, is built into the system.
  • Added Utilities: The Midnight Commander file manager and the htop utility are included in the system.
  • Wget Utility: The wget utility has been removed from the busybox set and replaced with the original GNU Wget.
  • hid-remote Service: The hid-remote service has been added for configuring HID remotes.
  • Entware Package: The Entware package has been added.
  • AlexELEC Common Add-ons Repository: The AlexELEC Common Add-ons repository has been added to Kodi, from which the following add-ons can be installed: TVLINK Simple Control, Aeon.Nox: Silvo (AE) skin, Keyboard Layout (for switching En/Ru keyboard layouts), and the Search.db repository.
