I'm not entirely sure if this is going to perform any better or worse than
bufio.Writer, or if we can be more intelligent with not blocking the peer writer actor while awritevis taking place so that we can keep queuing things up until it completes (thus taking better advantage of the vectorised writes).Still it seems worth exploring.
