Description

Underlying service for this package is retired and the associated package is no longer supported. Please help us in bringing this down from the package manager. Also raised PR for deprecation of the azure-SDK.

All the resources associated to this service is removed and also removed public facing rest-api-specs. This is the last step remaining for us.

Also, no customer exists for using these packages.

You'll need to add this note to the next version (1.0.1) so that it's included in the release for deprecation. You'll also need to update the version in the _version.py file to 1.0.1.

More info on version update here: https://github.com/Azure/azure-sdk-for-python/blob/main/doc/deprecation_process.md#changelogmd-and-_versionpy

@pavan530 - You'll still need to release a new version with these updates so that this disclaimer is shown in the latest version on PyPI. When you say that the service has been removed, do you mean that it's been retired? If so, what is the reason for setting the EOL date to 3/14 rather than asap?

We removed all the API's and updated the azure-sdk repo with EOL date. We are waiting for one last subscription (in Disabled state) to get deleted from service tree which is expected to get deleted soon. Post that, we will mark the service as retired. currently it's in Closing Down state. However, there are no customers present for this service.

You'll still need to do an official deprecation release so that the package has this disclaimer for posterity, so that anyone who stumbles on this package in the future will know as well. Because we disable pretty much all the checks once the package is marked for deprecation, this should be a relatively straightforward and quick release.
