Character Assets - Planetary Industry/Commodities - Viral Agent not showing

Neither Colony launchpads/storage, customs offices or personal/corporate hangars are displaying P2 Viral Agent as a produced item in any quantity. It only appears in colony screen as something a planet is set to produce but the actual P2 products aren't being reported anywhere I could locate.

You are right. The current version of EVE Buddy shows what is extracted and produced, but not what is stored on each planet.

The reason is that the server API does not provide live data about the current storage levels and colony layout. It provides a static snapshot only, which is updated when a user accesses the colony in the game client.

AFAIK the only way to show this information would be a forecast calculation based on the latest snapshot and elapsed time. This would require a lot of effort and I am not sure how important that feature is for users. So I have not yet implemented it.

I downloaded EB on noticing that J-Eveassets was glitching out on Viral Agents - there may be some unique current issue with those - but when I commented above I also didn't yet realize EB doesn't report corporate assets (and thus P2 stored in corporate hangars in NPC stations) in the same manner as character assets.

I assume there is some hook to tracking these because J-Eveassets lists the PI stored in both on-planet storage units and launchpads as well as orbiting customs offices - but for Location it's in the format of "Unknown Structure 1025161687326" for example (one of the Pemsah customs offices)

EB has a lot of other useful stuff to recommend it - I'm definitely happy with it so far, just finding it's not a perfect substitute for J-Eveassets in that particular niche function. Given that the dev has stopped updating J-Eve I'm hunting for an asset tracker - Eve was much more miserable logistics-wise before I started using third party tools for that.

Indeed. The EB currently does not support corp assets. But it is on my short list for new features to add. I am currently still working on adopting EB to better cope with the new rate limits, but that should hopefully be finished soon.

I have not looked at jEveAssets for a while, but it might be that it just shows the static data about storage levels.
