When launching the wizard for creating a picking manually, the only editable field in wizard lines is
qty. User can edit this field, and set the product quantity desired for the picking. However, this field is ignored completely in any calculation thereof, and consequently, a stock.move is created withmove.product_uom_qty == purchase_line.product_uom_qty, always.
