Releases: Gnurou/tagainijisho
1.2.2
1.2.1
- Update SQLite to 3.39.0.
- Fix a crash when trying to print entry lists.
- Update dictionary files to latest versions.
1.2.0
First stable release using Qt5. While this change will be unnoticeable to most users, it will allow me to finally resume more regular releases. The beta series should have been thoroughly tested, but as usual please report any issue with the installers, packages of the software itself.
Thanks to this updated release the Japanese data has also been updated, most notably the Japanese entries of the JMdict. Some users may find that a few entries in their study list have been removed (most likely, merged into another one) - to cope with this, a link to the archived entry will be displayed in such cases, so the new entry can be found.
Another big change is better support for dark themes. While there is still room for improvement, the current state should be good enough for daily use.
Lots of smaller annoying bugs have also been fixed.
I hope to make more fixup releases in the 1.2 series, while working on version 2 which should be a more radical break both in terms of design and UI. For this to happen, please test and report issues!
1.1.94
Fixed color issue with results view on Windows.
1.1.93
Fixed deb and rpm packages.
1.1.92
Target Qt 5.12 so we can build on Ubuntu 20.04.
1.1.91
Another pre-release, mostly to test the Github Actions workflow. All the binaries are now produced through Github Actions, making releases much easier to produce. Testing and success/failure reports are again appreciated.
1.1.90
After almost 7 years without releases, Tagaini is back! This release is limited to Linux users and people willing to compile from source, and is targeted at making sure that nothing is fundamentally broken before releasing 1.2.0 more widely. Also I need to figure out again how to produce Windows binaries. >_<
The biggest updates of this release are a long-overdue port to Qt5, and a better way to deal with entries deleted from the JMdict. These two issues, along with me getting busy with other things, are what held this release for so long.
Please test and report any issue (or success!), and we should be back soon with 1.2.0.
1.0.3
Mostly improvements to language support, with a pull of new JMdict and kanjidic2 translation. French translation has particularly been improved thanks to the relentless efforts of the jmdict-i18n project.
SKIP code support has also been re-enabled as licensing issues have been cleared, and various bugs fixed as the effort continues to port the codebase to Qt5 and to support mobile platforms.
