How to Debug the ‘parse_pileup.cpp’? #5

I am a student whose major is error correction. It's helpful for me to read the master piece CONNET and it arose my interest to explore the method deeper. Now I want to debug the ‘parse_pileup.cpp’ to learn how to process the pileup information. I got trouble when I use Pycharm and visual Studio2017+VisualGDB to cross debug the file. Could you please tell me which editor you use to debug it and how to debug c++ with python editor？
