JeffreyO fixed the issue with the old SpotifyAPI not working at all after the update. They completely switched things over to use a new API that is more up to date and actively maintained.
Track Skip playPause Feature
JeffreyO also added in track skip and play/pause functionality for buttons
2-4 on the monochrome devices such as the G13.
