This plugin downloads media from a specified social media account and uploads it as an `attachment` to your WordPress site.

The plugin currently supports the following social media platforms:

* Instagram (thanks to [raiym's `instagram-php-scraper`](https://packagist.org/packages/raiym/instagram-php-scraper))

== Installation ==

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

1. Add the plugin to your wordpress environment.
1. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
1. Go to the 'Settings' tab and click on the 'Media Scraper' sub-menu item.
1. Start customizing the settings to your needs.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= What media items are scraped from instagram? =

The plugin tries to scrape all most recent photos, videos and albums from the specified instagram account.

= Can I scrape media from a private account? =

No, currently this plugin only supports scraping media from public accounts. In the future this might be implemented.

= How to identify the scraped media =

The plugin creates an user with the username 'social-media-scraper' who is authoring all the scraped media the media is then stored as attachment.
