YT Player

A simple YouTube video player for Android, ChromeOS and Meta Quest 3/3s with features such as no ads, background playback and more!

This project has been archived/discontinued, YouTube has been making changes that have been a nightmare for me to work on this project, this project relied on hls for a long time which YouTube has officially blocked the main clients (ios, web_safari).

Usage:

• Press the "Share" button on any video in the YouTube app, press the "More" button and press "YT Player".

ChromeOS & Meta Quest 3/3s

Requires: Android version 7.1 and above

Usage:

• Copy the YouTube video url to your clipboard then launch the "YT Player" app.
