One thing that would really help working on building documentation is to split out part and chapter files as their own TeX include file.
When I was trying to get image inclusion working I also tried this.
There is a bug though in this part that mystifies me. @mmatera if you could get this working this would help a lot.
Basically we replace
docpipline.pywith some options for a more specialized programextract-docundermathics.doc.latexAbout the image inclusion. I spent a far bit of work investigating this and right now the code is too messy conceptually and in terms of code modularity to consider this. Possibly if the chapter split were done doing this might be easier.
What I eventually plan on doing is to add the graphics includes by hand before a release. I will also probably create a diff file so that if it has to happen again we can semi automate this. Hopefully though by the release after next we will have addressed this.
