Data repository for the NOAA oil database records

These are the data NOAA ORR ERD uses in the ADIOS^® Oil Database web service:

This is part of the GNOME Suite for oil spill modeling:

This repo holds all the data used in the web service, in the same JSON format provided by that system.

It can be used as a complete source of all the data for other applications.

Contributing Data

This gitHub project can be used to contribute data (or fix errors) to the database.

Please use gitHub issues to post requests, questions, etc.

If you have a new JSON record, or suggested changes to a given JSON record, you can submit that via a pull request on this project.

To work with the JSON format, we suggest our adios_db package in the adios_oil_database project:
