What's New

• HOSTS Editor: Built-in capability to edit the system HOSTS file directly from the program's settings interface.

Changes

• Default Projects: Projects available immediately after program installation are no longer configured for any PHP module. After installing OSPanel, the PHP module for such projects must be selected and enabled manually.
• Startup with Errors: In case of startup problems, the program no longer terminates (in most situations) but launches in limited mode with access to settings and logs.
• Key updates: When executing the composer self-update command, the program now also updates Composer's public keys.
• Root certificate update: When executing the osp cacert init command, the program now also updates the global Root certificate.
• Installer Behavior Change: When selecting the "Custom Installation" type, all component checkboxes are now automatically unchecked.

• Menu Commands: Fixed the functionality of commands in custom menu items located within categories (the issue appeared in version 6.2.6).
• Project Archive: The project archive was not displayed in the menu if all existing projects were archived.
• Notification Window: The OK button in the update notification window did not function as expected.
• Windows Shutdown: The program was blocking the Windows shutdown/restart process (error appeared in version 6.2.6).

• Редактор HOSTS: Добавлена возможность редактирования системного файла HOSTS напрямую через интерфейс настроек программы.

Изменения

• Проекты по умолчанию: Проекты, доступные сразу после установки программы, больше не привязаны к какому-либо PHP-модулю. После установки OSPanel необходимо самостоятельно выбрать и активировать нужный модуль PHP для таких проектов.
• Запуск с ошибками: В случае проблем при запуске программа больше не завершает работу (в большинстве случаев), а запускается в ограниченном режиме с доступом к настройкам и журналам.
• Обновление ключей: При выполнении команды composer self-update теперь обновляются также и публичные ключи Composer.
• Обновление Root-сертификата: При выполнении команды osp cacert init теперь обновляется также и глобальный Root-сертификат.
• Изменение поведения инсталлятора: При выборе типа установки "Выборочная установка" теперь по умолчанию все компоненты отключены.
• Дефектные проекты: Архивные проекты с ошибками в настройках больше не вызывают отображение красной иконки ошибки в интерфейсе программы. Уведомление появляется только после восстановления проекта из архива. При этом сообщение об ошибке продолжает записываться в журнал.

Исправления

• Автозагрузка: Устранена проблема с некорректным отображением состояния флажка автозагрузки: значение сохранялось правильно, но отображалось неверно.
• Поддержка высокого разрешения: Подогнан размер шрифта и ширина меню для корректной работы интерфейса на дисплеях с высоким разрешением.
• Часовой пояс: Изменение настроек часового пояса для модулей могло привести к невозможности их запуска (ошибка возникла в версии 6.2.6).
• Отображение иконок: Исправлено отображение иконок некоторых окон программы в панели задач.
• Команды меню: Исправлена работа команд в пользовательских пунктах меню, расположенных внутри категорий (ошибка возникла в версии 6.2.6).
• Архив проектов: Архив проектов не отображался в меню если все существующие проекты находились в архиве.
• Окно уведомлений: Кнопка OK в окне уведомлений об обновлениях не выполняла свои функции.
• Выключение Windows: Устранена проблема, при которой программа мешала завершению работы или перезагрузке Windows (ошибка возникла в версии 6.2.6).

Changes

• Automatic IP address assignment: For modules using local IP addresses in the format 127.127.126.XXX, automatic configuration is now used. This simplifies creation and distribution of new modules for users interested in their integration. If necessary, the IP address can be manually specified in the module parameters.
• Return of the Ioncube PHP extension: Ioncube support is available again, but be careful when changing default settings as this may cause failures when launching child PHP processes through the scheduler or manually.
• Separate proxy settings block for Composer: Proxy settings for Composer are now in a separate block, simplifying their configuration and management.

The first release of Open Server Panel 6

Open Server Panel 6 is, in fact, a new software product, the source code of which was written by us from scratch without regard to old developments.

The main differences between OSPanel 6 and OSPanel 5

• Full user access to the entire configuration of modules
• Program management in console mode and via the web interface (under development)
• Full control over processes (including monitoring and recovery after a failure)
• The possibility of parallel operation of any modules (you can enable all at the same time)
• Ability to create module configuration profiles (including configuration files and data)
• Personalization of settings for each domain (from IP to PHP version)
• SSL and IPv6 support without additional configuration
• Pre-configured environment for each module (up to the entry into the shell/cli with one command)
• The ability to quickly change the current environment in the console with one command
• A huge set of third-party extensions of PHP (more than 115!)
• Built-in task scheduler and SMTP-server
• Correctly working Composer in all PHP modules
• 100% stability of work without bugs / hangs and problems with encodings

Why staying on version 5 is harmful and unsafe

• You can't use different versions of PHP for your projects at the same time
• It is not possible to configure the environment of the modules and therefore there is no normal work with the modules in the console
• It is impossible to add new atypical modules (launch commands are embedded in the source code of the program!)
• Modules may not start due to incorrect encoding of configs under certain settings in Windows
• There is a possibility of database corruption when Windows shut down
• Lack of stability in the operation of modules due to the outdated way they are launched in the system
• A meager set of PHP module extensions and a poorly tested Apache and PHP configuration
• Important checks of the file system and system settings are missing
• There are failures when the task scheduler is running for a long time
• There are unsolvable compatibility issues with new versions of Windows
• There are many other reasons inherent in outdated software...

Почему оставаться на 5-й версии вредно и небезопасно
