🚀 A1 Evo Acoustica v8.0

• Added new ‘double bass’ mode where front speakers play full range (no crossover) and subwoofer(s) play along with them (LFE + Main). This mode can work wonders with some systems even when front speakers are not that large. “Enable Allpass” can be selected together with that mode but “Blend center” option will deactivate. When this option is selected, you can use front speaker crossover min/max sliders to limit subwoofer lowpass filter roll off frequency search range (otherwise it will usually be 250Hz).
• Added optional delay to measurement sweep starts for those of you who want to leave the room or sit at a certain position during measurements.
• Added “repeat measurement for this position” option to eliminate mic position measurements you believe to be noisy on the go.
• Fixed Cirrus Logic DSP models cable swap method failing with more than one mic positions
• Improved Griffin Lite DSP models subwoofer volume levelling algorithm applied to automated (non-REW) measurements
• Improved Telnet communication during calibration transfers and added required commands for LFE + Main mode for all models. Be advised that for old models in LFE + Main bass mode, when front speakers are set to ‘Large/Full range’, crossover frequency you will see for front speakers is subwoofer lowpass filter frequency. In new models, there’s a separate setting for that called “bass extraction lpf”. There are known bugs for some new models for setting that correctly without a power-cyle so make sure to double check your AVR set up menu after a transfer.
