Releases: Psych-Slice/P-Slice
P-Slice 2.0 - The Pico update
- Refactored the way P-Slice's code is written (making it easier to port between versions and potentially other engines)
- Added features from FNF v0.5.1 (except Darnell (BF mix))
- Restored album covers and stars
- New utilities to help in testing new components
- Improved compatibility with mods
- And much more...
With this update's release, I'll be taking a break from developing P-Slice. I am very happy to deliver the version of P-Slice that I've put a lot of time into making it as best as it can be (even fixing some bugs introduced in Psych 1.0).
Also, the new character system might still have some issues (mostly because of a lack of mods to test it with), but from what I tested it should work.
UPDATE: I've fixed some initial bugs and issues, so I recommend re-downloading the updated engine.
P-Slice 1.2
This version uses the new psych engine 1.0-prerelease. Most mods from psych 0.7.3 shouldn't be affected by that change, but in case there are you can still download version 1.1 (which is based on 0.7.3).
In addition to that, there's also a version built on psych engine 0.6.3 because apparently it's not dead and people wanted a version build on it.
Features:
- Erect remixes
- support for additional commercials in mods (located in videos/commercials)
- freeplay metadata support
- new FPS text

Experimental build of P-slice 1.2
This build updates Psych engine to 1.0-prelerease version.
In addition, it also introduces metadata files, which define additional properties of a song like its rating and a fragment to use as a freeplay preview, and also adds erect remixes (not fully complete as of this build).
Feel free to report any issues with it, so that they can be resolved before the full release.
Feature update 1.1
This update introduces custom sticker packs and native freeplay icons (just like the ones from V-slice)
Fixed bugs:
- Fixed screenshot preview sometimes not disappearing
- Fixed character editor being black
- Fixed cursor disappearing when restarting via mod menu

1.0.2
What's Changed
- Changed implementation of hxCodec (and now videos work)
- Enabled crash handler and added Linux support to it
- Made freeplay more resistant to crashes
Full Changelog: 1.0.1...1.0.2
1.0.1 Hotfix
Apparently, 1.0 had a lot of critical bugs, that some players experienced. This update tries to combat screenshot spam and some freeplay crashes.
NOTE: This update also makes P-Slice save separate from the vanilla Psych Engine.
Initial release
Initial release for P-Slice Engine!
Feel free to report any bugs you find via "Issues" tab.
I'm planning to release the 1.0.1 version with some of those fixed.
NOTE: Mods might be a little buggy on a Linux build.
