The Rowan ACM Artificial Intelligence Team is dedicated to promoting the concepts of AI to new students in CS. Because every student may not take the Artificial Intelligence class offered at Rowan, we would like to give students enough of a background so that they can pursue a greater understanding of the field on their own. We teach new students about basic concepts in AI and then attempt to apply them in useful applications ranging from game playing to problem solving. All the members of the team work together towards the completion of a project each semester. This project will contain multiple different AI concepts that will be presented to Rowan ACM. This semester is the AI Team’s introduction so we keep the concepts at a basic level; however, in the future we plan to expand into more complex topics. Rowan ACM’s mission is, “To help expand and improve the Rowan University Computer Science department and the Computer Science community.” To that end, the AI Team desires to progress by keeping in contact with students that have graduated to expand project possibilities to become more complex and keep current students in contact with graduates who have experience outside of the learning environment. If you have any question you can email Nick LaPosta
| ||

Rowan University Mobile Application Development (R.U. M.A.D.) is focused on building innovative mobile applications for iOS and Android. As more people are accessing the internet exclusively on mobile devices, it is important for Computer Science students to transition as well. We are currently building an app for Rowan ACM. It will allow members to receive real time information about the club and help other members. We are collaborating with the Web Development Team to integrate the ACM app with the website. For questions and more info, please contact John Saunders or Tyler Carberry.
| ||

The Web Development committee is a team of ACM members committed to learning the fundamentals of Web Development through hands-on activities and a collaborative environment. The team consists of individuals possessing a wide range of skills. Though the team is full of potential, many of us are new to Web Development. Everyone contributes regardless of experience.
