This Rproject offers data and code of the analysis of code sharing in archaeology presented at the CAA 2023 and in process of being published in the proceedings. The full analysis will be found in the paper, here are only some small comments added to the analysis code.
Data in /data/open-archaeo-data is taken from Zack Batist and Joe Roe's https://github.com/zackbatist/caa2021-openarchaeo . Check out open-archaeos source from https://github.com/zackbatist/open-archaeo .
articles_code_JCAA_2018-2023.csv is has been compiled by hand until 2023-08-22 and does not have any articles after that.
JCAA_all_papers_per_year.csv has been collected from https://journal.caa-international.org/issue/archive on 22nd August 2023.
The first graph is created using code from https://github.com/zackbatist/caa2021-openarchaeo . Analysis code and short discussion can be found in the CAA2023_code_sharing.qmd, which should render to html.
