March 25, 2025:

  • Sitecore Identity Server 7.x (sitecore-id7) image is DEPRECATED because dependent .NET 6 has reached end-of-support. Consider upgrading Identity Server to version 8, which supports .NET 8.
  • Since Microsoft discontinued delivering OS images for .NET 6, Sitecore has discontinued delivering container images for sitecore-id7. If your development solution uses short tags as recommended in the Sitecore Container Image Release Cycle KB article, then your solution will continue to target the latest available sitecore-id7 image. If your development solution uses long tags, then set the id image tag to the latest available sitecore-id7 tag directly in the id specification.
