Introduction

SlicerRT is a radiation therapy toolkit for 3D Slicer, containing generic RT features for import/export, analysis, visualization, making 3D Slicer a powerful radiotherapy research platform. The SlicerRT extension incorporates components from Plastimatch toolkit.

How to get help

You can write to the 3D Slicer Forum to get help on using 3D Slicer or SlicerRT extension. Use the Support category for user questions and Developer category for questions about using SlicerRT via using scripting or extending SlicerRT. Specify slicerrt tag to bring the topic to the attention of SlicerRT community members.

How to report an error

If you encounter an error, please follow the following instructions to help us to find and fix it more quickly.

  • Reproduce reliably with latest version
    • Make sure you use the latest Slicer and SlicerRT.
    • Try to reproduce the error and filter out what steps are really required for the error to occur
  • Collect relevant information about the issue
    • Describe exactly what steps you made before the error occured
    • What happens exactly that is the unexpected behavior
    • Read the entries in the Error Log window, and send us the ones that seem to be related to SlicerRT
    • Send us the contents of the Python Interactor window
    • If needed for easier understanding, attach a screenshot. Use compressed format (like .png, .jpg, .gif).
    • If you have built your version yourself (you don't use the package), add the SlicerRT and Slicer core source code git hash. Otherwise, report the used Slicer and SlicerRT versions (stable/nightly, which version/day).
  • Report the issue on the 3D Slicer Forum
  • If the issue is confirmed to be a problem in SlicerRT then submit to the SlicerRT project issue tracker
