Propositions have been updated. Thanks! |
Just checking things before merging but none of these apps are using Unity Multiplay, are you sure this list is correct ? Also, i'll note that Gang beast 285900 is a false positive, the multiplay dll is only in the mac os build but nothing much we can do about that |
Will talk to the team and get back to you next week. thanks |
Hey Lifeismana, I chatted with the team and learned that some of our customers using Unity and Unreal Engine built their own interfaces for the Multiplay services. Because of this, when these games are compiled, they don’t produce a file that the regex can detect since they’re pinging the API directly. However, games that install the SDK package directly and don’t use a custom interface do produce the file that the regex picks up. Even though we can’t capture all games since detecting multiplayer SDKs is a bit more complex, we still think keeping the regex in SteamDB is valuable. Do you have any thoughts? Thanks |
Indeed, it's still worth it to merge it. |
Anytime! Thanks for merging it |
Hi there. My name is Gabriel, and I represent the engineering team at Unity. We would like to add our multiplayer services, Multiplay, to your SDK list. Here is a quick list of games on Steam that use Multiplay.
