  • it is also used to manage the Hugo themes
• hugo
  • software used to generate the site
• UNIX-like operating system
  • it is not required, but is recommended, as it makes it easier to install and use hugo
  • it is possible to install hugo on windows, but it is less convenient, consider installing WSL
    • WSL2 is not required
