Entities: Players Drupal Users) NPCs: Non player characters. Actors within the game with dialog, maybe level bosses that respawn. Mobs: Zombies, Monsters, Cybrogs, clones and other killable creatures distinguished by level abilities
Cities: Abstract places comprised of numerous Map-Grids. A city has numerous attributes: Population level, Population growth rate, Pollution Level, Pollution growth rate, Crime , Crime growth rate, Climate, Education ,Technology level (A growth rate may be be in the negative or nuetral)
Map-Grids(aka rooms): A unit of space in the game comprised of tiles in a grid onto which NPCs, Buildings, Objects and Mobs are placed. On the less populated ,mapgrids Mobs will respawen regurlarly
Buildings: Places to interface with the city: Bank, Markets, Armoury, Jail. A building may have a Mapgrid representation or a Webform. Buildings may also be considered state alomngside Dead, Active, Offline etc.
Heartbeat of the City:
The City has 3 heartbeats.
One every 5 seconds, one every minue , one every 5 minutes.
These are triggers that can be observed by observers to update the game world. For example interested accrued on deposits is calculated every five minutes as is popular opinion, whereas mineral levels are calculated every minute.
