Installation
Dolphin for desktop Windows, MacOS and Linux based systems.
- At least Dolphin 5.0-12801 recommended 5.0-15214 or newer, PrimeHack also has support since 1.0.5.
For Linux, you have to compile Dolphin yourself or use a package. For Linux specifically, with Dolphin 2412 and above, an official Flatpak is available. For more information, see https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2024/12/02/dolphin-progress-report-release-2412/#2409-260-add-manifest-for-building-as-a-flatpak-by-cpba.
- Place the DynamicInputTextures folder into Dolphin's Load directory:
- You can find the load folder if you navigate in dolphin to
File
>Open User Folder
and navigate to theLoad
folder. - By default you can also find the load folder under

%UserName%\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load

- You can find the load folder if you navigate in dolphin to

tab > CheckLoad Custom Textures
. - The Internal Resolution should be 2 or more, enter

>Enhancements
tab > increaseInternal Resolution
above 1x. - As soon as you start a supported game, Dolphin will generate and load the new button textures.

It is also possible to clone this repository to Load/DynamicInputTextures
Dolphin UWP for Xbox Series X and S.
- Place the DynamicInputTextures folder into Dolphin's Load directory,

RetroDECK for Linux and SteamOS.
- At least Retrodeck v0.7.0b
Since v0.7.0b RetroDECK has an option to automatically install Universial Dynamic Input Textures for Dolphin.
This section also applies to the Dolphin version installed by EmuDeck for SteamOS.
- Place the
DynamicInputTextures
folder into Dolphin'sLoad
directory,- To find the load folder, open Dolphin, click
