Pixel Wizard Web Development Competition - Mentorship Platform

This project is part of the Pixel Wizard Web Development Competition, where the goal is to build a mentorship platform for SLIET. The platform connects students with faculty members for academic and career guidance. It features an automated booking system that allows users to view faculty details and book mentorship sessions with ease.

This web application is developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (without any external libraries or backend services).

• Interactive Login Form: Secure login form with an eye icon for toggling password visibility.
• Responsive Design: Optimized for use across devices.
• Stylized UI: Enhanced visual experience with animations and responsive form elements for better user interaction.
• Dark Mode : These webpages and forms allows dark mode.

Installation

To run this project locally, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository:

2. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd RusticBits
   

3. Open the index.html file in a browser to view and interact with the platform.

Usage

The platform includes the following core functionalities:

1. Login Form:

   • Input credentials to access the platform.

2. Faculty Profiles:

   • View all faculty details including their expertise, bio, and contact information.
   • Each profile displays available mentorship slots that students can book.

3. Booking Mentorship Sessions:

   • Students can browse faculty profiles and select from available time slots to book a mentorship session.
   • Sessions are automatically updated to reflect real-time availability.

Example Usage

• View Faculty Details: Visit the faculty section to explore individual profiles and find relevant mentors.
• Book a Session: After selecting a faculty member, choose an available time slot to schedule your mentorship session.
