This repo will be superceded by https://github.com/XboxEmulationHub/XBSX2

I didn't really want to do this but the history with this repo is kinda screwed along with the fact it's not actually linked as a fork to the PCSX2 Repo. So I decided to just fork PCSX2 (under the XBSX2 name) under that new link and do everything new I'm hard at work on the next version of XBSX2 but I have no idea when it's going to come out. If anyone has any questions regarding this please feel free to reach out in the Discord (https://discord.gg/WCmxvvxHqu) until then see you on 2.0.8.5 in the new repo :)

XBSX2 is a fork of PCSX2 which is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits.

System Requirements

We recommend to use an Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X with XBSX2 but you can however play a limited set of games on Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X.

Please note that a BIOS dump from a legitimately-owned PS2 console is required to use the emulator. For more information, visit this page
