How to use cocotb with Yosys's oss-cad-suite?

Let's say that I have the Yosys oss-cad-suite package on a macos machine with no system python installed. Is it possible to use cocotb with the python that comes bundles with oss-cad-suite?

If the answer is yes, I would appreciate a simple example, I did a few iteration with grok but nothing seems to work, e.g. the command below didn't generate any visible output file.
