This PR was created to address #1 . @jeffrichards, I appreciate the PR, but I thought taking a different approach might work. This should keep the updated
debian:stable-slim, but fix the broken sqlite3 install. If it works for you, I'll merge it in the the master branch, and we should be able to close your PR as well.Also, I added a test script
./sendTestMessage.pywhich you can run from your laptop, afterdocker-compose upto test the SMTP connection.
