  • The purpose of this pre-release version is to tag a commit where known defects are fixed, run-time efficiency is acceptable, and both the unit and integration test-suites are passing with reasonable coverage. Also reasonable run-time efficiency, as is important for publishing. Additionally, we will refactor out some of the modules in our library that are self contained so that the `pcg-core` only exposes the tightly inter-dependent core data types. We have a few modules which have grown to monolithic sizes. These will be refactored into multiple internal modules. This constitutes a major refactoring and performance tuning pre-release.

  • The purpose of this pre-release version is to tag a commit that does all the things PCG needs to do to start publishing, even if it's not the most efficient. We consider this our "minimum viable product."
