- Modern UI created using material design.
- Search Kanji either using ID or by providing a Kanji as input.
- Search multiple Kanji at once.
- All the Kanji have link to their Jisho page.
- Get meaning, onyomi, kunyomi, and page numbers of Kanji instantly.
- Search your previously searched Kanji easily using the History tab.

The project has been created in Visual Studio 2012. The C# solution contains two projects: JSON_SerDe and Kodansha Kanji Search(main proj)

JSON_SerDe was intially used to convert(serialize) the kanji data file into a JSON file. In this project, it is used to deserialize the JSON file for use in the Kodansha Kanji Search project.

The GUI is uses a material design library called MaterialSkin.
